Land Rover Experience Redesign
Land Rover Experience Redesign
Auditing existing microsites before further creating user journeys and user flows to determine a comprehensive sitemap and wireframes for the redesign of Land Rover Experience section within the Land Rover website.
The Problem
At present the Experience Drives have a dedicated section on the website, however the pages are difficult to find, the page structure is inconsistent, the division between factory tours and experience drives is not clear
As a result of this setup, some centres can be booked online through a third party, while others must be booked directly with the operator via phone or email
Furthermore, as these centres are run independently, they are often hosted on their own microsite and do not follow a consistent user friendly layout
My Role
Audit existing franchise and company owned microsites
Create user journeys and user flows for a proposed new section on the Land Rover website
Develop a sitemap and wireframes to create a new structure that can be rolled out globally
Create a number of new components that would enhance the experiences on offer
The Solution
Content Audit
The content audit illustrates the number of microsites in use. It also captures who owns, what products they sell and how the user can purchase them. It also gives us a great insight in what content is consistently used across all microsites and therefore allows us to formulate a content hierarchy for our proposed templates.

The sitemap was essential was this type of project as it helped myself, the rest of the team, the client and third party sprint team on the scale of the project.
Wireframes
Once all the IA was signed off it was into Wireframing. I created wireframes to accommodate different breakpoints. I also created a number of bespoke components which were included in a functional specification so they could be handed over to the Designer and Sprint team.
